Srinagar, Jun 26 (PP): Security forces have launched an operation against militants in the Basantgarh area of Udhampur, resulting in an ongoing encounter, officials said Thursday morning.
According to a statement from the Army’s White Knight Corps, shared via X and reported by the news agency Prism Post (PP), the operation began following precise intelligence regarding militant presence in the Bihali Arwa locality of Basantgarh.
Officials confirmed that contact has been made with the militants, and the operation is currently ongoing—(PP)
